One Day Festival Experience
Experience the atmosphere of an international summer music festival within a unique one day format.
Designed for busy students who may not be able to attend a full multi day summer festival, this special opportunity allows participants to learn, observe, collaborate, and perform within a professional festival environment while receiving guidance from internationally recognized artists and faculty.

Festival Performance & Honors Concert
5:30 PM
All participants will have the opportunity to perform in the Festival Performance & Honors Concert held at the conclusion of the day.

Participants may choose to:
• Attend the full day festival experience beginning at 8:45 AM
or
• Participate only in the Festival Performance & Honors Concert

Open to intermediate through advanced piano and string students
Festival Activities
Participants may have opportunities to experience:
• Solfege Session with Phil Tacka
• Masterclass with Tianxu An
• Solo Lessons and Individual Coaching
• Chamber Coaching Sessions
• Practice and Observation Opportunities
• Pre Concert Lecture with Chi-Wei Lo
• Faculty Chamber Music Concert
• Festival Performance & Honors Concert
Meals
Lunch and dinner will be provided for participants attending the full day festival experience.

Piano & Strings
Participants may register for:
• Solo Lesson Only
• Chamber Coaching Only
• Solo Lesson + Chamber Coaching
Performance Requirements
Participants may present one piece only throughout the festival experience, including both their lesson/coaching session and the Festival Performance & Honors Concert.
There is no time limit for lesson or coaching repertoire.
For the Festival Performance & Honors Concert, participants are encouraged to select repertoire that does not exceed 7 minutes in length.
Festival Diploma & Recognition
All participants will receive an official festival diploma following the concert ceremony.
Selected festival honors and recognitions will be announced following the concert through email and website posting.
About the Festival
Established in 2012, the Lancaster International Music Festival has welcomed participants from 39 countries around the world and continues to provide meaningful international musical experiences for young musicians.
Application Information
Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Space is limited to approximately:
• Piano: 7–10 participants
• Strings: 5 participants
• Chamber Ensembles: 2–3 ensembles
Due to the highly individualized nature of the program, enrollment is intentionally limited to ensure meaningful coaching and performance opportunities for all participants.
Please note that chamber ensembles must be pre formed prior to application. Ensemble members are responsible for organizing their own groups. Chamber ensembles will not be assigned or formed by the festival.
